Concept is at the core of everything I do. My work often starts from something personal, and it unfolds through both thoughtful construction and intuition. I’m drawn to textiles and textures, especially those that feel a little unconventional or unpredictable.
Intuition and feeling are central to how I design — I want to beresponding to what the fabric is wanting to be. I believe the most compelling garments have life in them — something raw, honest, and a little unexpected. Through careful making and genuineexperimentation, I attempt to create work that is quiet, but significant.
